Its so sweet how i rarely update anymore and yay there are still so many ppl looking at my page! I feel so lazy and guilty! i'm sorry! >.<

Just realised that sch is starting really soon!! AND I'M STILL SUPERLY CLUELESS! yay. just got a call from my new ogl about matriculation. and i was like huh? So fast arh? =PPP

help. i need to stop stoning arnd and start reading up all the yay university materials! Yayayayayya...

Apparently i was supposed to blog about focs and stuff. but its so hard to describe it. Like how can words describe a few days of jam packed fun? =S I'd have to write like pages. yay.

its so weird how 8 mths have flown by so quickly. Like before you know it, all the time has disappeared and we're all going back to the muggerboard... =S. What have i accomplished in this holiday? Grown a bit more jaded, more tired and more mature (I HOPE). Lost a bit more pride and hair. Learnt a bit more about the truth of human nature, and forgotten QUITE ALOT of academic knowledge....or is there a bigger picture? something more noble that i've done over this long period of happy free time? Hmmm... it really does bode thinking and reflecting.

Elementary...

I cut my hair! like 0-0... like SUPER SHORT! =P... yay... its a big BIG change but i'm not particularly sad abt losing my long hair... its nice to have a change now and then. whee~.

What is it recently with scamming shops? Encountered two shops in the same week that were super horrible. one shop (somewhat related to sherlock holmes) displayed a pack of lozenges at a certain price... but when i bought it, they charged me muchly higher claiming that they forgot to put up the right price tag. GR. The second shop (that nv sleeps and a cousin of the terrorist attack that received the highest publicity) displayed a drink at a highly discounted price of 2 for 2.20 SPECIAL OFFER! when i tried to pay at the counter... they told me "oh we're sorry, the promo is over and it's 1 for 2.20 now." MMF!!!!

Sort of rmbed that there was a certain law that stated that shops have to sell their products at the price that they label it as... so that consumers will not be misled. tskness.

Today i had a run in with some perv that called the singtel hotline.

Me: Hi good morning welcome to singtel, this is ___, how can i help you?
Perv: Hi, wad is your name?
Me: ____ (spells it out for good measure)
ME STARTS TO WORRY THAT CUST IS ABT TO COMPLAIN ABT HER
Perv: Hi ____, can i talk to you?
Me: Yeah?
Perv: can you speak chinese?
Me: (abit miffed says a bit of reassuring stuff in chinese)

Perv: How old are you?
Me: That is confidential, is there anything pertaining to singnet you wish to enquire abt?
Perv: How long is your hair? do you have long hair?
Me: Is there anything pertaining to singnet you wish to enquire abt?
Perv: You're very pretty ____
Me: (aiseh thanks arh) is there anything pertaining to singnet you wish to enquire abt?

he finally said something that qualified as sexual harrasment and i dropped the line.

burnt and happy. =)

I'm back from camp!!! =D Burnt and sleepy. =( But it was so fun! Like much more fun than other camps. Maybe its the company, maybe its the xiong factor....

only got max 4 hrs of sleep during the whole camp. Supposingly, days that end before 3am during camps are considered no fun. Bleah. *_*

The people were actually really nice! =O was a bit worried about having to meet new ppl and make new friends. But everything really did turn out well and i had so much fun with all the friendly ppl. =)

So much happened during the camp, but i think i really have God to thank for keeping me safe throughout. >.< Had a near death experience once which i shan't talk about here... God is rly the best and with Him arnd, i have nth to fear. =)

Happy Guard Dogs!

So the other day i went running. it was a nice pretty day and i was off early (FOR ONCE). So i rushed back and changed into running stuff and trooped off happily.

The run was quite nice and uneventful.. and then when i'd completed abt 2/3s of the run, i passed by this huge field. See the area i run is very nature reserve omgosh the wild is so nice sort of thing. And there were these dogs i nthe field pretty far away...

As i happily ran past, two dogs ran up and started growling and barking at me. These dogs bore no resemblance to lyn's skippy all fluffy fur and hyperhappiness. n-uh. these were the GUARD DOG sort of hideous monstrousities. Oh help.

So i meeped and ran onto the little grass patch next to hte highway and was thinking of hitching a ride. when i walked forward one step, happy guard dogs walked forward one step as well. when i walked back tentatively one step, happy guard dogs walked back one step too. MEEP!!

Then this elderly couple walked up and laughed at me. AT ME!! Like "HAHA... got fence they cannot come out de lah." Ya, i'm not that toot. but the fence ends like quite soon down the road and i so totally dun wan to lead the dogs to that opening. MEEP!!!

Thankfully happy guard dogs lost interest in me in a bit and i sprinted home as the sun set merrily... grah!

shopping is teh win

i am dreadfully happy! even though i'm somewhat (sadly) blogging at work because i have to work and unlike some ppl i can't slack at home (grr...) BUT I'M HAPPY! If you'll take a closer look at my wishlist, it should show that LIVERPOOL TOTE BAG IS NOW OFFICIALLY OFF THE LIST! =DD (okay it should if my html works right, i haven't checked yet).

i finally decided to spend my hard earned pay and buy the bag! AHHHH... its like my new love!

Even after discount the thing was blastardly expensive. Oh my gosh. it's like one day of my pay. ONE WHOLE DAY OF DEALING WITH CRAPPY PPL. =(((

And we spent a whooping total of 274 bucks! how horrid is that. =P i have new clothes!!! and shoes!!! happy.

forgotten

well. looks like i'll be in the kentridge campus come august! ahhaa... can't say i'm too excited or too disappointed. maybe the news hasn't rly sunk in yet... or maybe i was nv rly quite decided abt which route i wanted to choose. whee~

Terribly wanted to blog about my pasir ris outing on tuesday, but the past few days have seen tons of ppl calling our hotline and thus.. tons of work. *mopes* at least today it ain't so bad! =DDD The most impt thing is being happy no matter what happens!

Pasir ris outing was teh fun! And i'm not saying that just because i planned it. heehee. nope. it was rly fun to see ppl i've not seen in an age. To cycle in the breeze with the sun warmly shining on us.... ahhhh... this is the life! =) Rly missed the class ppl something awful. Its so odd.. we've been together for two whole yrs but its only when seperated that i rlz how much i've depended on the class these years. Just a vague sense of sadness that those yrs have passed us and we no longer can return. its prbly why i hanker after the new ares t-shirts/sweatshirts and we keep track of all hc events to go back and relive those good ol days.

And as the days pass, more and more ppl will leave spore to study overseas. Before long, a class outing will prbly only consist of two to three people with the rest happily haviin their outings in england, nv to return. =( Who knows when i'll ever see my classmates again? When we're all married and gone or maybe nv... to be relegated to the back of memory and forgotten in the light of upcoming events.

ironman

NO... who says that girls like to watch guy shows cos they wanna look at the guys. GOOD GRIEF. The guy in ironman is really NOTHING worth looking at. And you can take my word at that.

Better yet, don't take my word for it and see for yourself....

Anyway. it was a FABULOUS MOVIE. =))) It's actually really good. Not at all some chauvanistic shit about boys and their toys but rly good quality graphics and the like. In fact, i'm so enamoured with the idea of building my own robot suit. How totally cool is that!! AHHHH...

Take my word for it, don't give in to stereotypes and go and catch the movie. You won't regret it.

My only gripe was that the cinema seats were too squeezy. YUCKS LAH. i had no place to stretch my legs and stuff in the puny five cm leg space. WTH... sucky cinema. See... i alr said before hand not to go to that kuku cinema after numerous of sucky movies in there. Yucks. To build a cinema you must first think of people with long legs like me that need the space to stretch!

Painting. =)

wahaha. and here i am blogging at work again. omgosh. i should be so ashamed of myself.

Painted the base of my room yesterday. Even with my dad helping me, it was a horribly long and tedious task. But for the sake of my pretty pretty room!!! Gahhh!!! The worse thing is rlsing that i'm wayyyyyyyyy too short to paint the ceiling even with the aid of long pole stuck onto my paint roller. Nope.. i had to use a stool on top of that. =( And the colour turned out weird! Like it was supposed to be purplish white and it turned out yellowish white. OH WELL. Will have to paint in the colours on monday and see how it all turns out.

Will also upload relevant photos after all the painting is done and let everyone see my beautiful paint job. XD

And yes i'm going to watch ironman! =))) Desperately need something to look forward to in the week.

The worst are people who keep msging and asking you out. AND THEN... keep finding excuses a while later to cancel the dinner date and stuff. Like in the first place if you're so apprehensive about it, DON'T SUGGEST IT. wth. = = Like i nth to do but sit arnd and wait for you liddat. GR. ya. i say GR!!!

wahahhaa. i can't believe i'm blogging at work! If this comp had msn everything would be fine and dandy. And i'm off tmw! How great is that! =)

Yeah yeah. i know i'm lucky i get to go home and sleep on my own bed with my teddy bears and soft toys. Use my own computer with it's very very big screen and nice internet access... and get to weaer something other than green and grey everyday. Wahahhaa. But STILL! It's tiring dealing with all this day in and day out. And i still have two mths to go!!! Omgosh. OMGOSH.

Is ironman any good to watch? =/// for some reason i get alot of ppl asking me to go watch it. =// but the description is like some totally MALE CHAUVANISTIC STEREOTYPE. it perfectly fits the mould. =/// But transformers was very guy-thing as well and it turned out pretty good in the end. (: Sigh..... time has become so precious. i begin to understand why some of my friends party out till the wee early hours of the morning when they get to book out of ns.

When are the kuku NUS acceptance letters coming out anyway? ): Living in trepidation for the rest of my life doesn't exactly fit into my lifelong plans... Sigh

Ugly.

i'm actually a tad pleasantly surprised that there are still ppl reading my blog! =DDDDDDDDDDD... That's rly quite sweet... such faith and trust that i will keep updating when i've been lagging in my updates!

Work is just tiring. Somedays i feel so sick of the greed and pettiness of the human race that i yearn for utter extinction. It's just so sickening to see the bad side of ppl everyday... day in day out... everyone all greedy and selfish. ): It's like they're given a license to show us what horrid ppl they are.. sigh. Strip away all pretty gilded appearances...

Maybe it's rly time for the world to come to an end. wipe out this corruption and ugliness.

I wonder if i can live thru the three mths or i'll end up like all the other ppl, broken and lost and let go before their time is up.

It's become vital to fix an outing or something on the nights before my offdays. Something to look forward to in the week. To get me thru the horrid days that never seem to end.

Workkkkkkkkk

Ahh... i messed up again. was supposed to start May from a new page. =P

One week into the job on my own!!! =DDDDDDDD... life is tiring. It's like... i wake up, i go to work, i come home, i eat dinner, do some chores and sleep... and the cycle repeats itself. And the other day, david asked 'eh. so what else are you doing besides work?' EXCUSE ME? WHAT ELSE? = = if i had the energy i'd do lots of other things... but as it is... this job is just too tiring.

Somedays we sit in front of the computer and experience this phobia of entering the system. some people don't rly care that you're a 19 yr old girl trying her best to help them... they just scream and shout over the phone and demand to speak to a manager. Yeah right. like our managers sit arnd everyday and wait for them.

The thing abt this job is that its been one huge reality check. the world isn't at all as pretty as it seems from inside the gates of hc. It's greedy, cut throat and downright selfish. People don't give a damn that you're a person like that, they just shout and scream because they feel it's their entitlement. Sometimes i wonder how they live with themselves. Sheesh.

But the ppl i work with are really great ppl and for that i really have to thank God. =) It makes all the difference when you have friends to weather the bad calls thru with... and the long days when no one wants to call the hotline. Yups. =)
